The Open Tracking Services software is comprised of the following software components:
- Tracking Device Software Library (OTS TDSL),
- Tracking Data Transfer Device Library (OTS TDDTL),
- Tracking Server Plugin API (OTS TSP API).

All software is released as Lesser GPL version 3 for flexible use, including commercial projects.
Tracking Device Software Library
OTS TDSL is a set of device-independent open source libraries, enabling device development houses and manufacturers easily achieve compliance with Open Tracking Services.
Tracking Device Data Transfer Library
OTS TDDT Library is a set of device-independent open source communication libraries for transparent data encryption, easy data transfer and remote device configuration. By using the TDDT Library enables device development houses and manufacturers easily achieve compliance with Open Tracking Services.
Tracking Server Plugin API
OTS TSP API allows the OEM to extend the TSP-based technology servers' functionality through the well known interface for seamless End User and administrative experience.
